Blacks in Wax

A living history program is one of RWLC/SETLC signature educational programs. Combining drama, music, dance, and theater, the youth of SETLC bring African American history to life for school groups, family, and theater patrons. SETLC scholars in period costumes pose as “wax statues,” portraying iconic African Americans from the past and present with first-person monologue depicting their contributions and place in history.
